This was one of the hottest days of the year so far during a record breaking heatwave. We braved the heat to go for a seven mile walk without being as prepared as we should be.
Once we got to the lighthouse I went on to the end of the point and Rachel returned and spent the time on a different beach chatting to a local fisherman.
It was slow going for the last couple of miles back, but we made it and drove straight to the pub for a cool drink. After that we needed some food so we headed to a local small church to stop outside and make some pasta. Since we were in the Aygo we took a gas bottle and cooked on that rather than using the diesel cooker in the Focus.
We were both very tired that evening!
