Day 1 was just about driving to Wales so I could spend the whole of the next day there and not on the road. I got there at night and when looking for somewhere to park, unexpectedly found a raw milk vending machine that had white chocolate milkshakes. This was fortunate as nowhere else was open and nothing was likely to be open the next day. I filled up the fridge with milkshakes and found somewhere else to stay for the night. That detour was quite serendipitous.
