Day 6 Zadar To Rijeka - 7th August 2022

We left Zadar and headed to Plitvicka Jezera, another park with waterfalls. We had a walk around the park and then headed to Rijeka.
Rijeka was a bit rougher than the other towns we'd been to, some graffiti and less developed. When we got there Amy had a nap in the hotel and I went out exploring. I climbed a set of stairs to a park or garden and saw a nun making her way up as I went.
At the top was a fortress called Trsatski kastel which was beautiful. Like many older buildings in Croatia it had been repurposed and was now used for modern purposes.
I headed back down the stairs and had two Croatian desserts at the restaurant that night, neither of which were amazing. I walked around the old town and the parking lots looking for number plates, the hunt was getting desperate now!
